Né en 1969, Themba Hadebe a travaillé pour le Mail & Guardian et The Star avant de rejoindre The Associated Press en 2000. Il a notamment été lauréat des prix Picture of the Year et World Press. Il a été nominé pour le CNN 1999 African Journalist/Mohamed Amin Photographic Award comme photographe africain de l’année en 1998.
